Semi-weekly reflection, Oct 19

I gave it my all, and I consistently tried to succeed. For the past couple of classes I kept on using TurtleWorld, and I feel like I was very successful using this. I have accomplished a lot and I have also tried really hard to be successful in this class. This is one of my most successful projects, which was writing the alphabet using TurtleWorld. An example is the spiral and this is the picture of it.

My goal last time was to become better at TurtleWorld, and I think I have achieved it. From only knowing how to make the turtle move, now I could write functions and they are very useful. My goal for the next couple of weeks is to be able to actually code using python, not using TurtleWorld. I would like to use codecademy to learn python and be better at it.

Turtling in circles

I have been learning how to code through TurtleWorld. I have been learning how to code by writing my code repetitively so I do not forget what I write. Also instead of writing the code down, I understand the code first, and then write the code down. If I do not understand what the code means, I try it out and then see the results to find out what the code does. If I still do not understand the code, I would ask someone who does. This technique helps me learn, and I have learned a lot this week through this.
