End of week of January 31st of 2016
I did some codecademy at home as well as in study hall and I mastered Double or Nothing. I also completed a side quest. (ง¬.¬)ง
Update for 2016
I haven’t updated in a long time and would like to say that I have completed many quests since my last update. For instance I completed the lullaby quest line and am going to work on completing the Turtle Questline.
Weekly Update Week of November 8th
I have completed 2 quests this week, with the assistance of my peers Aidan, Hee Jun, and Taeho. I also occasionally helped Seif, when he was having problems figuring out what his mistakes were when he was coding I helped him identify and fix the problem.
Hunters and Healers
Getting around Cigol
- I am worried that it will be very complicated and I will not understand. I am also worried that it will be a lot harder to debug if there are problems.
2. I am looking forward to working with Python because my brother has used Python in his college computer science class, so I’m hoping he can help or give advice as to how to use it or how to construct certain things.
Storyteller (Tier 2)
My story didn’t have much depth and it didn’t have too much character development. I think I could improve by adding more depth and character development and making it longer instead of one fight. I feel like I could write in a journal or practice writing a short story to improve my writing skills and read more books to expand my vocabulary.
Week for September 17th
I’ve encountered multiple errors in the coding and have fixed some, I made a way to make sure that the battles don’t overlap or hidden sprites attack and so you take 2 inputs of damage.
Digging Deeper
I learned that using can create a pretty good but sometimes speech can be too spastic and can confuse someone so you should make sure you use the appropriate amount of time to display a text bubble.
The Spell Machine Mastery
I learned that instead of using steps an alternative is to use the glide block instead and make it so that your character looks like they’re moving by changing their costume into one that makes it look more realistic and like they’re actually moving. I also learned that you have to use a lot of different blocks and scripts to actually make it move with control, or by itself. I am also looking forward to making more than an animation and collecting more experience and old in gnimmargorp.
